“Sacred Springs: Perceptions of Religion and Water in Village Communities of Uttarakhand” Independent Research, Uttarakhand Region, India (May 2018 – Present)
· Designed and executed a research study using ethical field methods on the intersection between water conservation and religious practices in the context of community health.
· Conducted interviews with village women on their perceptions of water conservation and Hindu practices relating to aquatic resources.
· Executed case studies on rural families while living in the area for one month.
· Explored the relationships between preexisting water sources in nature, religious practices surrounding these sources, and the livelihood of rural communities were explored.
“Population Biology of American Toads in an Agroecosystem”
Student/Faculty Collaborative Research, Dickinson College (January-May 2017)
· Collaborated with a small research group to create an experimental design, perform biological field tasks, collect data, and present findings on the population trends of American Toads and their potential use as Conservation Biological Control agent.
· Retrieved, measured, and tagged toads at the Dickinson College Farm and analyzed collected data using the mathematical program R/MARK.
· Presented findings and poster during an Ecology research conference at Lehigh University
